The advantage of self-driven tour around France is you own your time, as pressed and precious it may be considering we had only 10 days to maximized as much of France as we could. I couldn’t let the opportunity passed when it was possible for us to visit another country which was just a stone's throw away from the route we are following around France. We came upon this quaint city of Sanremo, one of the major cities in Liguria (a coastal region of north-western Italy). We only stayed a short time in Sanremo yet reached to a conclusion that it was a place deep in culture and tradition. Sunday was just a perfect day to be in Sanremo. It was bustling with everything fresh, a market day it seems. I had just a couple of minutes to get as many photographs which was just about the same time given for my companions to purchase as much freshness they can get for our drive back to France. Sanremo, what a teaser for my next Europe trip, you might be my next European adventure, VIVA ITALIA!
